Queen of the Liver Flush
Annie Jubb is one of my biggest inspirations, a pioneer in raw vegan nutrition, her place Jubb’s Longevity in NYC in the early 90’s was hugely influential in spreading the raw food message. For about a decade, her Life Food Organic restaurant in LA was one of my favourite places to eat when I was over there. Annie has worked with thousands of clients on detox programmes, including many of Hollywood’s most celebrated actors and musicians. She is particularly known for her work with the liver, and when I decided it would be a great idea to do a podcast on liver flushes, Annie was the first person to come to mind to give us the liver lowdown. She discusses why liver flushes are important for everyone, and how to do one successfully.
March/April is the best time of the year to do a liver flush. I highly recommend embarking on this little adventure within your body at least once a year, however healthy you are. You can find my liver flush protocol here.
