Magic Lemonade

Secret Lemonade Drinker

This one was inspired by Annie Jubb, one of my favourite raw nutritionists and chefs, and her electrolyte lemonade recipe.

In the summer, I drink this nearly every day, it’s especially good after hot yoga or any kind of sweaty exercise where you want to replenish your electrolytes. I love it because it ticks about every single health box.

You’ve got turmeric, nature’s top inflammatory; you’ve got flax oil for the EFAs and to help with the absorption of that all-important curcumin; then there’s lecithin to help with the breakdown of fats; lemons for a super alkalinity boost; coconut water for the electrolyte minerals: and lastly a bit of ferment to increase the potency, and add a light fizz.

I am so addicted to this drink! It has all the cool calming effects of a green juice but is so much easier to make and more fun to drink.

  • A blender

Recipe Ingredients

Recipe Instructions

Peel the lemons, and put the flesh into the blender with all the other ingredients.

Blend for a minute until it goes smooth and serve immediately.

Will keep for 24 hours.
