Sunsplash 2011 was one of the best times I had last year, and I’m really looking forward to going again this year, and taking the whole family. It’s got the best DJ line up, including my personal favourites Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Phil Asher, and Dego. It’s set in a stunning 5* hotel, with a private beach, pool parties, and a heavenly spa. There’s a morning and evening buffet included, which even has a raw food section, so no worries about what to eat. It attracts an older crowd, with most people around my age (30s-40s), and last year there were lots of people who brought their children. We are all seasoned clubbers, so the parties still go on all night though! There’s yoga classes in the day, some interesting workshops, and even a raw food class from me. It’s a small festival with an intimate atmosphere, and a brilliant bunch of people. Let me know if you’re planning on coming, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
